The third session of the Carthage Days for Contemporary Art chose Palestine as the festival’s guest of honor.
Palestine was represented at the festival by a delegation led by the undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, Jad Zeidan, in the company of the artist Raad Issa and the artist Muhammad Al-Hawajri, in the presence of the ambassador of the State of Palestine to Tunisia El El Fahoum.
Palestine participates in ten paintings by artists who embody the daily life of the Palestinian people under the occupation.
The head of the office of the Tunisian Minister of Culture, Saad Said, inaugurated, on Friday evening, the third session of the festival, in which the countries of Algeria, Jordan, the Sultanate of Oman, France, the Emirates, Egypt, Libya. , Qatar and Tunisia, the organizing country, are participating.
Carthage Days lasts until May 30.
