Ramallah – the world of the homeland

After a six-year hiatus, Qatar Airways and Gulf Air from Bahrain announced the resumption of direct flights between them today, Thursday.

One daily flight will be launched for each of them, according to the flight schedule of both companies, according to what was reported on the website (Al-Khalaj).

The two companies used to operate between them 93 flights a week, before the suspension of flights in 2017.

And Gulf Air previously announced, in mid-May, that it would operate three daily flights to Doha, starting on May 25, a day after Bahrain’s Civil Aviation Affairs announced the resumption of flights with Qatar.

It is worth noting that the government of Qatar and its counterpart in Bahrain announced, last April, the renewal of diplomatic relations, after the meeting of the joint committee for the two countries in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.
